Korean tourist loses travelling bag as taxi quickly sped away

A Korean tourist lost a travelling bag after the driver of the cab that took him from the airport to his hotel drove off as soon as he got off the vehicle on Mabini Street, Malate, Manila.

In his complaint lodged at the Manila Police District-General Assignment and Investigation Section (MPD-GAIS), victim Chon Man Park, of Usan City, South Korea, and presently billeted at Rm. 223, Rivera Mansion located at 1638 A. Mabini St., Ermita, Manila, reportedly rode a cab from NAIA and told the driver to take him to his hotel. After paying his fare, the victim got out and was about to take his bag when the driver sped off, leaving him helpless and in shock.
   
The incident took place in front of the hotel at around 1 a.m. and the victim failed to get the plate number of the said cab.
   
The victim said his bag contained five boxes of Red Ginseng Extract worth $220, a pair of branded shoes and sunglasses and other valuables.
