TWO more alleged drug offenders ended up dead in Manila, after allegedly fighting it out with the police, during separate operations of the Manila Police District (MPD)-Station 4 the other day and yesterday.

At around 10:30 p.m. the other night, suspect Macawadib “Jumar” Jamar, of 292 Quezon Marinaut, Marawi City, got killed during the ‘Oplan Tokhang’ of the Station Anti-Illegal Drugs (SAID)/Anti-Crime and Gulod Police Community Precinct (PCP) led by SPO4 Ramon Relator.

Jamar was killed at the second floor of an apartment building located at 926 Rosarito St., Sampaloc.

Meanwhile, during a buy-bust operation conducted by operatives from the MPD-Station 2 at around 1:50 a.m. yesterday, police killed suspect Ferdinand Salazar at the corner of Jose Abad Santos Avenue and Quiricada Street in Tondo.

Prior to the shooting, police reportedly received information about the suspect’s illegal activities. A buy-bust operation was carried out.

The suspect arrived in the area aboard a tricycle and was approached by poseur buyer PO2 Raymond Boco. However, the suspect allegedly sensed that he was talking to a cop so he pulled out a gun and fired, without hitting Boco.

Boco reportedly fired back and hit the suspect in the stomach and head, killing him instantly.
