A suspected drug pusher, who reportedly surrendered last month to their barangay officials, was gunned down by riding-in-tandem suspects believed to be members of “Caloocan Death Squad” Tuesday night in Caloocan City.
Caloocan police chief Senior Supt. Johnson Almazan said Jemar Antifuesto, 30, jobless, of NPC Road, Bgy. 166, was rushed by his relatives to Nova District Hospital where he succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
Homicide investigator PO3 Rhyan Rodriguez said the victim was standing in front of Rosary Hills School in Vista Verde Subd., Bgy. 167, Llano Road, when two motorcycle-riding men arrived at 8 p.m.
The back rider, armed with cal. .45 pistol and wearing black bonnet, alighted from the motorcycle and shot the victim at close range repeatedly. The suspects sped away.
Witness Hilario Alcalde told police that the victim still continued his illegal drug activities despite having vowed to reform last month.
