MEYCAUAYAN City -- Five drug suspects were nabbed in stake-out operation by operatives of this city in Bgy. Bancal Monday.
In a report to Senior Supt. Fernando Mendez Jr., Bulacan police director, Supt. Hector Samar, Meycauayan police chief, identified the arrested persons as Cristal Andrade, 28, single; Ludivina Evalla, 34, of San Diego St.; Orlando Hernandez, 37, single, jobless of San Diego St., both in Bgy. Bancal; Reynaldo Cruz, 30, resident of Doña Conching Apartment, Bgy. Banga; and Xavier Raides, 24, of 104 Soriente St., Bgy. Tugatog, Meycauayan City.
Samar said the suspects were arrested in a police operation against illegal drugs at around 10 p.m.
Confiscated from the possession of Andrade was one piece of medium-size heat-sealed transparent sachet containing shabu weighing 0.145 gram and three pieces of plastic sachet weighing 0.028 gram; 0.014 gram and 0.013 gram were seized from Ludivina Evalla.
Seized from Cruz was plastic sachet weighing 0.323 gram and three pieces of transparent sachet with shabu weighing 0.058 gram. Confiscated from the possession of Hernandez was 0.039 gram of shabu.
The suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan PNP Crime Laboratory Office for drug test and laboratory examination.
A case for Violation of RA 9165 was filed against the arrested persons before the City Prosecutor Office, Meycauayan City, Bulacan.
