HAGONOY, Bulacan -- Police have arrested one of the most wanted persons in Hagonoy town Monday afternoon.
Reports reaching Bulacan police director Senior Supt. Fernando Mendez Jr., Supt. Rolando Santos, Hagonoy police chief, identified the wanted felon as Ismael Eugenio, a.k.a. Piyang, 33, married, fisherman, resident of Chicago St., Bgy. San Agustin, Hagonoy, Bulacan.
Mendez said that Eugenio was ranked as the no. 2 most wanted in the said municipality.
Eugenio was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Ma. Resurrection Ramos-Buhat of RTC Branch 80, Malolos City, dated August 7, 2008 for the crime of violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The accused is detained at the Hagonoy Municipal Jail for documentation prior to his turnover to the proper court.
