TWO persons, including the suspect, were killed while two others were wounded when a farm owner went berserk yesterday morning in Cavite.
Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr. said the incident occurred at around 5:45 a.m. at the corner of Centennial Road and Kalayaan in Bgy. Batundalig, Kawit, Cavite.
Reports said the gunman, identified as Boy Evangelista, a sheep farm owner, fired his M16 rifle and cal. .45 pistol at three persons who were on board a motorcycle passing in the place.
One of the persons, identified as Joel Manisi from La Paz, Tarlac, died on the spot while the two others were rushed to a nearby hospital.
