A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD boy who has been missing for several days was found dead in an abandoned lot in Bgy. Abella, Naga City, yesterday.
The victim was identified as Ronnel Balane from Zona 6, Mabolo, Naga City.
According to a radio report, two young boys sent to get kangkong from a swampy area in Bgy. Abella found the victim already in a state of decomposition.
The boys immediately reported what they saw to the police who said that the missing boy’s description fits the victim who was reported missing since Feb. 13.
Police are hunting a certain Brian Belga, 27, the live-in partner of Ronel’s mother, who was reportedly seen walking along with the boy before he disappeared.
Reports said the couple would usually quarrel because of Ronnel. Police are investigating if Belga was the one who hit Ronnel with a hard object that caused his death. Michael Ratti
