Romualdez nursing school shines again

THE College of Nursing of the Doña Remedios Trinidad Romualdez Medical Foundation, Tacloban City, ranked number nine Top Performing Nursing School among 483 institutions in the most recently concluded Nursing Board Examination given last December 2011.

This College of Nursing has repeatedly bannered its commitment to quality and excellence in nursing education as it continues to place itself in the coveted list of Top Performing Nursing Schools – having ranked 6th in 2008, 8th in 2009 and 9th in 2010 and 2011.

Moreover, a graduate of the school, Miss Euanne Cabillo Orellano of Tacloban City, placed Number Five among the 22,000 plus successful nursing examinees who took the December 2011 examination. Her feat adds up to the long list of nursing board examination placers from RTRMF.

At the helm of the Doña Remedios Trinidad Romualdez Medical Foundation, Tacloban City are the members of the illustrious Romualdez Family of Leyte, namely: Juliette Gomez Romualdez, Chairperson; Benjamin Philip G. Romualdez, Vice-Chairperson; and Atty. Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, President.

A much-lauded countryside development project of then Leyte Governor Benjamin “Kokoy” T. Romualdez in the early 80s, RTR Medical Foundation has produced, for Leyte and Samar, competent and highly trained medical and paramedical professionals.
