MALOLOS City -- Positibong kinilala ng mga biktima ang tatlong pulis na suspek sa nangyaring pananambang na ikinasugat ng kapitan ng barangay at pagkakasawi sa dalawa nitong bodyguard nu’ng February 6, sa Bgy. San Juan, San Miguel, Bulacan.
Base sa ulat ni Senior Supt. Fernando Mendez Jr., Bulacan police director, kinilala ang mga suspek na sina SPO2 Angelito Vera Cruz Liwag, PO3 Antonino Timoteo at PO1 Alex Dayao, pawang nakatalaga sa San Miguel Police Station, isang alias Sherwin at si Jane Doe.
Ayon kay Mendez nag-ugat ang pagkakakilanlan sa tatlo ng boluntaryong sumuko ang isa sa mga suspek na si Timoteo at isinalaysay ang tunay na nangyari.
Sa police lineup ay positibong itinuro ng mga biktimang sina Sta. Ines Bgy. Chairman Bong Alvarez, Pascualito Banquillo at Fortunato Bacual ang mga suspek na sina PO2 Liwag at PO3 Timoteo habang kinilala si PO1 Dayao sa pamamagitan ng kanyang litrato.
Una rito, isang task force Alvarez ang binuo ni Mendez na pinamumunuan ni Supt. Adriano Enong Jr., deputy provincial director for operation; Supt. Edwin Quilates, chief, PIB; PPSC chief Supt. Fitz Macariola; Bulacan-CIDG provincial officer Chief Insp. Monico Cadayona; Bulacan-HPG Chief Insp. Noel Nunez at Supt. Camilo Lintao, chief ng Police Community Relations Branch at Supt. Julius Ceasar Domingo. Matatandaang nakaligtas sa ambush si Alvarez at hindi naman pinalad ang dalawa niyang bodyguard na nasawi na sina Ruel Vidal, 52, ng Bgy. Tibagan, at Josefino Alvarez, ng Bgy. Sta. Ines, sa pananambang na naganap sa isang spa nu’ng Lunes.
Nagtamo ng sugat sa kanang braso ang kapitan samantalang nagtamo ng tama ng bala sa katawan at ulo ang dalawang bodyguard.
Ayon sa pulisya, pumasok sa isang spa center sa Bgy. San Juan si Alvarez dakong 5:30 p.m. nitong Lunes nang dumating ang tatlong suspek na sakay ng motorsiklo at pinagbabaril ang mga bodyguard ng kapitan gamit ang kalibre .45 at M-16 rifle.
Kinasuhan naman ang mga suspek ng two counts of murder at two counts ng attempted murder sa Office of the Provincial Prosecutor sa Malolos City.
Kasalukuyang nakadetine sa Provincial Public Safety Company detention cell ang mga suspek.
