THIEVES broke into the PSBank branch in Lipa City, Batangas, and fled with an undetermined amount of cash and other valuables.
Police Regional Office 4-A director Chief Supt. James Melad said the burglary was discovered by a security guard when he opened the roll-up door of the bank branch on JP Laurel Highway in Bgy. Sabang, Lipa City, at 8:20 a.m. yesterday.
The unnamed guard said he noticed a probaton stick placed between the handles of the bank’s glass doors, prompting him to report the incident to the police.
Bank manager Francisco Cosme said they are still conducting an inventory of the lost items.
Scene-of-the-Crime-Operatives are investigating the incident.
