5,000 scouts nakilahok sa 19th Batangas Provincial Jamborette


NAKIISA sa pormal na pagbubukas ng pinakamalaking scouting event sa lalawigan ang mga opisyal ng pamahalaang panlalawigan sa pangunguna ni Batangas Governor  Vilma Santos-Recto kasama ang mga opisyal ng DepEd Division of Batangas at top scouts ng Boy Scouts of the Philippines-Batangas Council  sa 19th Scouting Jamboree  sa Bgy. Mataas na Lupa, San Pascual, Batangas, noong Pebrero 8.

Ang scouting jamboree ay dinaluhan ng humigit-kumulang 5,000 Boy Scouts kasama ang kanilang mga opisyal mula sa iba’t ibang dibisyon ng DepED sa lalawigan na sasalang sa limang araw ng scouting activity na nakatuon sa paghasa at pagpapalakas ng kanilang kahandaan na pangunahing adbokasiya ng isang scout.

Taos-pusong tinanggap ng scouting delegation sa programa si Governor Vi, tumayong panauhing pandangal sa okasyon.

Ipinahayag ng gobernadora sa mga opisyal ng Boy Scouts  Batangas Provincial Council na nananatili ang pagsuporta ng kanyang administrasyon sa mga nakalinyang programa ng samahan na nakatuon sa pagpapalakas ng scouting spirit sa mga kabataan sa lalawigan.

Pinarangalan ni Governor Vi ang scouting officials na nanguna sa jamboree sa patuloy nilang paghubog at paghahanda sa mga mag-aaral sa layunin ng scout na maging laging handa at maginoo sa lahat ng oras.

Ang Scouting Jamborette  ay pormal na binuksan ni Calaca Mayor Nas Ona na tumatayo bilang Boy Scout Provincial Chapter chairman at sinaksihan ng mga panauhing scouts na binubuo ng iba’t ibang punong bayan partikular si Mayor Antonio Dimayuga ng host municipality ng San Pascual, mga opisyal ng DepEd Division of Batangas na pinamumunuan ni Dr. Donato Bueno.
