COTABATO policemen stepped-up their hunt for two inmates who bolted the Mlang police detention Thursday.
Police Regional Office 12 director Chief Supt. Benjardi Mantele identified the two escapees as Tasly Ulimpain Sanoy and Nasser Daigan Saoton, both facing charges for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
The fugitives and their fellow inmate Ramil Sumaray escaped by destroying the window of their cell. Sumaray, who is held for a carnapping case, was recaptured shortly after the jailbreak.
