Foreigner jumps to his death

ANGELES City -- A Caucasian male died instantly after he jumped off the rooftop of a hotel in Bgy. Malabanias, here, last Tuesday.

Chief Insp. Luisito Tan of Police Station 4 said the hotel logbook showed he was Tom Miller.

Investigators said that around 3:16 p.m., the victim was seen at the coffee shop at the lobby. The hotel staff said they noticed that he was uneasy and kept on moving around.

After drinking his coffee, the victim went out. After a few minutes, the hotel staff learned that a foreigner was found dead along Tamarind St. at the back of the hotel. They were shocked to learn that the victim was the man who left the coffee shop.

Mark Vicente Dorol, stay-in plumber of a nearby hotel, told policemen that he was working at the top floor of Tune Hotel at 3:25 p.m. when he saw the foreigner jumped off the rooftop of Grand View Tower Hotel.

SPO2 Jose Capinpin, officer-on-case, saw no foul play, saying the foreigner committed suicide.

The victim’s body was brought to a funeral parlor for autopsy.
