MALOLOS City -- Three persons had been charged with violation of Section 11 of the Dangerous Drugs Act for possession of at least 0.890 grams of shabu.
Bulacan Criminal Investigation and Detection Group provincial officer Chief Inspector Monico Cadayona identified the arrested person as Arsad Macasendil, 25, vendor, resident of Bgy. Tala, Caloocan City.
Macasendil was arrested last Feb. 4 by SPO1 Joselito DL del Rosario while conducting surveillance and police operation against all forms of illegal gambling at Pabahay 2000, Bgy. Muzon, San Jose del Monte City.
Cayadona said the suspect was seen by his operatives driving a motorcycle with a gun tucked on his waist.
When accosted by the CIDG team, a replica pistol of .9mm Berreta was seized from the suspect.
Police yielded from the suspect’s pocket one small heat sealed plastic sachet containing shabu weighing 0.380 grams with market value of P4,484.
Meanwhile, Malolos police conducted a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Balite, Malolos City, which resulted in the arrest of a couple.
In a report to Bulacan police director Senior Supt. Fernando Mendez Jr., Malolos police chief Supt. David Poklay identified the arrested suspects as Rolando Trajano, 38, driver and his live-in partner Mary Rose Manucom, 30, both residents of Bgy. Atlag, Malolos City.
Confiscated from the suspects were two pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 0.24 and 0.27 grams and the P500.00 bill used as marked money.
