CONCEPCION, Tarlac -- An employee of the Commission on Elections office here was arrested in a buy bust operation in front of Rising Sun Learning School in Bgy. San Nicolas here Thursday night.
This town chief of police Supt. Joyce Patrick Sanggalang identified the suspect as Anthony Cahatol, 26, single, of Bgy. Pao, here.
Prior to the arrest, Sanggalang said their confidential agent reported that the suspect was having a drug transaction in the area.
Intelligence operatives conducted a buy bust operation which resulted in the arrest of the suspect who yielded a transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing .33 gram.
Cahatol was arrested in coordination with the barangay officials and in the presence of a mediaman.
The suspect was detained at the Concepcion Police Station facing charges of violation of the Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
