ANGELES City -- The nanny of a Filipino-American here was shot several times by two men who were looking for her employer in Plaridel 1 Subdivision, Malabanias village here last Sunday.
Chief Insp. Luisito Tan identified the victim as Camille Senente, nanny of Michael Cronin, 28, a Filipino-American.
Investigators said the victim was outside the gate of her employer’s house talking with two teenagers at around 9:40 a.m. when the unidentified suspects approached her and asked for the whereabouts of Cronin.
When Senente told them that her boss was not home, the suspects left but returned after several minutes and told her to tell Michael that they already left.
The suspects left but returned again and shot Senente in the face. The victim was able to run towards the house but was pursued by the suspects and shot her several times, hitting her in the abdomen.
They them escaped on board a motorcycle.
The victim was rushed to the Ospital Ning Angeles and later transferred to the Jose B. Lingad Regional Memorial Hospital in the City of San Fernando.
Investigators found four empty shells and a bullet for super .38 caliber handgun at the crime scene.
Cronin told the police that he did now know anyone who has grudge against him.
