THE intensified campaign of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PRO-Cor) and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Baguio resulted in the arrest of two most wanted persons in Abra and Baguio City.
Joint personnel of the Bangued Municipal Police Station, Pidigan MPS and the RPSB arrested Rodel Talaga Borreta, 23, married, butcher, of Bgy. Ubbog-Lipcan, Bangued, Abra, the other day by virtue of a warrant for violation of RA 10591 issued by Judge Raphiel F. Alzate of RTC Branch 58, Bucay, Abra.
Detectives of CIDG-Baguio, on the other hand, arrested Wilma Tao-ing Bitaga, 33, widow, saleslady, of Tapao, Quirino Hill, Baguio City, by virtue of a warrant for qualified theft issued by Judge Cecilia Corazon S. Dulay-Archog of RTC Branch 6, Baguio City, with a recommended bail of P24,000.
Subject persons were placed under the custody of the concerned authorities for documentation prior to their turnover to the courts concerned.
