TWO men on a motorcycle, who were both drunk after coming from a Christmas party, were badly injured when their motorcycle rammed into a car the other day in Parañaque City.
Police identified the victims, Vincent Quirante, 42, the driver, suffered leg, neck, and body injuries, and a certain Alex, the back rider, suffered cuts in the face. They were rushed to Parañaque District Hospital.
Police said the incident took place at 9:30 p.m. along the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque.
Investigation showed that the two were speeding on a motorcycle along Roxas Blvd. on their way home from a Christmas party when vehicle went out of control.
Edgar Suarez, of Parañaque City Traffic Enforcement Unit, said it was at this point that the motorcycle rammed into a black Toyota driven by Luvern Sampang.
Quirante claimed that Sampang’s car sideswiped their motorcycle, though he admitted that he and Alex, who were not wearing a helmet, were both drunk.
Sampang, however, belied Quirante’s allegation, maintaining that it was the motorcycle that rammed into his car.
