10 suspects killed by DDS, CDS, anti-drug cops

TEN drug suspects were killed by suspected members of the vigilante groups and police anti-illegal drug operatives in Pasay, Caloocan, Navotas, Pasig, Marikina and Quezon cities, police reported yesterday.

In Pasay, killed the other day by alleged members of the “Deadly Death Squad” (DDS) were Domingo Manosca, 44, and his son Francis, both of Mahongay Street; while in Caloocan City, construction worker Valentine Loren, 44, of Bgy. 176, Bagong Silang, was killed by members of the “Caloocan Death Squad” (CDS) Monday night.
   
In Navotas City, Roberto de Leon, alias “Obet,” 36, of Bgy. Tangos, was killed by unidentified armed men while sleeping inside his own house yesterday.
   
In Quezon City, killed Monday during a police buy-buy operation were alias “Bibi Macawili,” and alias “Kosa,” boh of Bgy. Matandang Balara.
   
Meanwhile, Shirley Mae Layog, 24, of Bgy. Mayamot, Antipolo City; Ruby Turingan, 36, of Bgy. E. Rodriguez, Cubao; Mark Oliver Puriran, 27, single, postman, of Bgy. East Fairview, QC, were nabbed in a buy-bust operation inside a hotel in Quezon City.
   
In Pasig City, massacred the other night by unidentified gunmen were Bernie Halcon, Jayson de Torres, both of Bgy. Maybunga; Olan Santos, Bgy. Rosario and Alias Onay, of Bgy. Pag-Asa, Maybunga, all in Pasig City, according to EPD director Chief Supt. Romulo Sapitula.
   
In Marikina City, unidentified suspects killed two drug personalities Monday night.
   
The fatalities were identified as Ramilo Jhon Daracan, alias Palong, single, of Rosal St., Paradise, Bgy. Malanday, and Glenn Torralba, alias Bobot, 45, fruit vendor, of Kabayani Road, Purok 5, Bgy. Malanday.
