SEVEN fishermen were reported missing in West Philippine Sea for their fishing expedition two weeks ago.
The victims were identified as Pedro Amor, his brother Junjun Amor, Christopher Mongje, Jumar Gamboa, Alfredo Bautista, Carding Nical and certain Jerry.
Reports said the victims went fishing in the area on Nov. 28, 2016 on board a fishing boat “Jonh Paul” and were scheduled to return on December 3.
However, as of press time yesterday, the fishermen failed to go home, prompting their families to seek help from the Philippine Coast Guard and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC).
Accordingly, the fishing boat was last seen on December 2, 2016 some 82 nautical miles west of Bolinao, Pangasinan.
