THE Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is planning to build a military camp in Butig, Lanao del Sur to avoid the repeat of the attack of the Maute Group.
According to AFP- Public Affairs Office (PAO) Chief Colonel Edgard Arevalo, aside from pursuing the enemy, the AFP is checking on the possibility of having a military camp in the area to secure the safety of the residents.
Arevalo added that the AFP will also do their best to win the community.
He said a good relationship between the military and the community will be a great help in monitoring the activity of lawless elements and terror groups.
