A MESSENGER was found dead and already decomposing inside the bedroom of his house in San Andres Bukid, Manila, the other night.
Prober SPO2 Charles John Duran of the Manila Police District (MPD)-Crimes Against Persons Investigation Section (CAPIS) said the death of the victim, identified as Dhunhill Cesar, 30, of 2176 Onyx St., San Andres Bukid, is still being investigated to determine its cause.
The body was discovered at around 8 p.m., already in a state of decomposition, right inside his bedroom located at the second floor.
His sister Danice, 16, told police that she last saw the victim alive at around 9 p.m. last November 18, after the latter had a drinking session with friends.
At around 6 a.m. last Sunday, Danice said she was wondering why she had not seen her brother again so she went up his room and knocked.
Getting no response, Danice said she thought that the victim was merely asleep and then left. However, at around 8 p.m. Sunday, there was stench coming from the victim’s room so she decided to knock again.
When the knocks went unanswered, the victim sought other family members who forcibly opened the door, and found the victim dead. Itchie G. Cabayan
