Drunk worker stabbed dead by carpenter in Batangas

A 31-year-old worker under the influence of liquor was stabbed dead by his neighbor inside his house in Bgy. Pantay Matanda, Tanauan City, Batangas, the other day.

Reynold Baculinao, married, a construction worker, of Bgy. Pantay Matanda, was declared dead at the hospital due to deep stab wounds after he was attacked by  Jomar Awitan Baleza, 44, married, carpenter, native of Calauag, Quezon, Tanauan City police chief Supt. Robert Rodelas Baesa said.
The incident was reported to Tanauan police dest officer SPO1 Arnold Cascalla at 7:30 p.m. by a security guard of CP Reyes Hospital.
Investigators PO3 Rommel O. Sandoval and PO1 Leo Arnie S. Leycano said that at 7 p.m., the drunk victim was inside his house, together with his common-law wife and two daughters.
Accordingly, the victim was creating considerable loud noise due to intoxication from liquor.
The suspect, who is his neighbor, entered the victim’s house and stabbed the victim in the the body.
The victim, though wounded, was able to run outside the house but he was chased by the suspect and stabbed him again.
The suspect immediately fled.
The victim, who sustained three deep stab wounds, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced  dead  by  attending physician Dra. Parfan at 7:18 p.m.
The victim’s body now lies at the CP Reyes Hospital morgue for autopsy.
