CAMP Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet -- Joint personnel of the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB) arrested the no. 2 most wanted person in La Trinidad at 1 a.m. on All Souls’ Day at Km 6, Poblacion.
Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PRO-COR) Chief Information Office chief Supt. Marcelo B. Polig identified the suspect as Marilou Sangot Alyong, 50, single, self-employed, native of La Trinidad, and resident of 24-B, New Lucban, Baguio City.
PRO-COR director Chief Supt. Elmo Francis O. Sarona said the suspect was arrested by virtue of five warrants for estafa issued by Judge Jennifer P. Humiding of the Regional Trial Court Branch 63, First Judicial Region, La Trinidad, with recommended bails of P400,000, P16,000, P20,000, P30,000 and a syndicated estafa with no bail recommended.
Alyong was brought to La Trinidad MPS for documentation prior to his turn over to the issuing court.
