A man working as a filler at the Navotas  Fishport was killed by three masked male suspects, who shot him three times in front of his live-in partner in Tondo, Manila, the other day.

Victim Mark Joseph Oliveros, of Building 19, Aroma Compound, Tondo,  Manila, died instantly due to gunshot wounds in the head and body while the suspects escaped.

Investigation by PO3 Jorlan Taluban of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said the shooting took place at around 7:30  a.m. in a dark alley between Building 20 and Building 24 of the Aroma Compound.

His live-in partner, Annazel, told police that she and the victim were walking home when the suspects suddenly blocked their path, pulled the victim aside and then shot him repeatedly before fleeing on foot.

Annazel said he did not see the suspects’ faces since they were wearing face masks. She admitted that the victim is a drug user and expressed suspicion that her partner’s death may be drug-related.
Five small plastic sachets containing shabu were found in the victim’s pocket.
