Games today:

(Philsports Arena)

12:30 p.m. – PAF vs IEM (Spikers’ Turf)

4 p.m. – BOC vs PCG (V-League)

6 p.m. – BaliPure vs Laoag (V-League)

BALIPURE and Bureau of Customs seek to complete the Shakey’s V-League Reinforced Conference semifinals cast as they tangle struggling foes today at the Philsports Arena.

Eyeing a fourth straight victory, the Water Defenders cross paths with Laoag at 6 p.m., while the Transformers play lowly Philippine Coast Guard at 4 p.m.
University of Santo Tomas and Pocari Sweat have clinched the first two slots in the best-of-three semifinals with 5-1 and 4-1 records, respectively.
BaliPure (3-1) and Customs (3-2) are not far behind with the leaders, as the two squads are already assured of a playoff for the last Final Four berth.
After losing to the Tigresses in the opener, the Water Defenders won their last three contests, thanks to the superb showing of Americans Kate Morrell and Kaylee Manns, as well as mainstays Dzi Gervacio and Amy Ahomiro.
BaliPure, third placers in the Open Conference, is coming off an 25-13, 25-23, 25-17 conquest of University of the Philippines last Saturday.
Although they lost to the Lady Warriors, 22-25, 22-25, 14-25, last weekend, the Transformers are still fancied to prevail over the Lady Dolphins, who sank to five losses, all via straight sets.
Alyssa Valdez will spearhead Customs’ attack along with Thais Kanjana Kuthaisong and Natthanicha Jaisaen.
The Transformers are a full game ahead of the Lady Maroons, who finished the eliminations at 3-4, in the race for the last semis berth.
For UP to enter the Final Four via the playoff, it must hope that either BaliPure or Customs won’t reach four wins to make it happen.
In the Spikers’ Turf, Philippine Air Force shoots for its fourth straight win against IEM at 12:30 p.m.
