Salvage victim dumped in Sampaloc

A STILL unidentified man was found dead in Sampaloc, Manila, in the wee hours of the morning yesterday with a cardboard that read, ‘Tulak na ayaw magpapigil, buhay ay titigil!’

The victim was described as between 35 and 40 years old, about 5’2” tall and of medium built. He had the names ‘Daco’ and ‘Anthony’ tattoed on his left shoulder.

SPO4 Glenzor Vallejo of the Manila Police District (MPD)-Crimes Against Persons Investigation Section (CAPIS) reported that the vicim was found dead by a scavenger at around 3:45 a.m. at the corner of P. Florentino Street and A.H. Lacson Avenue in Sampaloc.

The scavenger, identified as Jimmy Ruferso, reported the matter to Barangay Ex-O Edgar Tagle who, in turn, sought police assistance.

The victim’s whole head was wrapped with packaging tape and his hands were tied in his back. He had bullet wounds in the right temple, jaw and neck.
