Killers have become more ruthless when they left a suspected drug pusher they killed on the railroad track, apparently to be run over by train yesterday in Muntinlupa City.

The victim, identified as Efren Santiago, alias Umbak, of Bgy. Tunasan, Muntinlupa City, whose face was wrapped with a black cloth, was found sprawled on the tracks face down.

Police said the shooting incident took place at 1 a.m. on E. Rodriguez PNR Site, Bgy. Tunasan,  near the railroad tracks.

Neighbors of Santiago told police that they heard four successive gunshots. When they checked, they found Santiago already dead while the suspects were gone.

Police said Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) of Southern Police District (SPD) recovered from the victim’s pocket a coin purse containing three plastic sachets of suspected shabu and two empty shells for cal. .45 pistol.
