Chinese trader killed by RIT men

A CHINESE businessman was killed by four ‘riding-in-tandem’ suspects who riddled him with bullets while he was aboard his car with his girlfriend in Binondo, Manila, the other night.

Victim Shi Hua Tian, alias ‘Andy’, 28, of 423 Jose Abad Santos Street, Binondo, Manila, was rushed by concerned citizens to the hospital but did not make it due to multiple bullet wounds he sustained in different parts of the body.
The suspects escaped aboard motorcycles after the shooting and remain unidentified.
A report by PO3 Ryan Jay Balagtas of the Manila Police District (MPD)-Crimes Against Persons Investigation Section (CAPIS) said that the incident took place at around 11:15 p.m. in front of the Blue Lane Hotel located on Tomas Mapua near Ongpin Street in Binondo.
The victim was said to be aboard his vehicle, a white Honda  Civic sedan with plate number AAW-3122 along with his girlfriend Dony Ya Lin and cruising along Tomas Mapua Street when their car was riddled with bullets.
After ensuring that the victim had been hit, the suspects sped away toward an unknown direction.
The victim’s girlfriend was unharmed but police cannot get any information from her since she cannot be found.
An investigation is underway to establish the identities of the suspects and their motive for the killing.
