OFW victimized by ‘Salisi’ gang at NAIA

AN arriving overseas Filipino worker lost her bag to members of “Salisi Gang” while taking lunch at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.

Johaima Alug, arrived at about 2:35 p.m. Monday on board a Cebu Pacific flight 5J111 from Hong Kong. She was having  lunch with her family at the fastfood restaurant at the arrival area when her colored purple Longchamp bag disappeared. She said the bag contains undetermined cash, her passport, cards and other valuables.

The PNP-Aviation Security Unit (AVSEU) conducted record verification, viewing of gallery of suspects and CCTV footages at the curbside area for possible identification of the escape route of the suspects but yielded negative results.

Manila International Airport General Manager Ed Monreal called on the chief of Airport Police Department (APD) to dispatch  more civilian cops to areas where most passengers and their families enjoying precious time.
