2 holduppers shot dead

TWO suspected holduppers were killed allegedly after they shot it out with members of the Manila Police District-Tactical Motorcycle Riders Unit, who were accosting them yesterday morning in Malate, Manila.

PO3 Dennis Turla of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said the suspects remain unidentified and described to be between 25 and 30 years old, about 5’4” in height, skinny and had many tattoos in the body.

It was learned that at around 3:30 p.m., patrolling members of the TMRU saw the suspects aboard a motorcycle in a dark portion of Ayala Street in  Malate, Manila.

The suspects did not wait for the cops to come near and fired at them, prompting the group of PO1 Wilson Cruz Lopez to fire back, resulting in the duo’s instant death.
