MEXICAN Ambassador to the Philippines Julio Camarena on Tuesday visited the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency headquarters in Quezon City and offered his government’s full cooperation with Philippine authorities in addressing threats posed by illicit drug trafficking and abuse, PDEA Director General Isidro S. Lapeña announced yesterday.

Lapeña said the Mexican ambassador vowed closer interaction and stronger bilateral cooperation between Mexico and The Philippines in fighting transnational crimes including drugs.

“We are honored to have Ambassador Camarena as guest. His visit to the PDEA National Headquarters in Quezon City further develops the already established cooperation between the Philippines and Mexico to address the drug problem in the international level,” the PDEA chief said.
