SANS the aura of Rachel Weisz and husband James Bond star English actor Daniel Craig, President Benigno C. Aquino III gifted “Bourne” star Jeremy Renner token each of three pieces of chocolate truffles placed inside a sealed small box bearing the President’s seal.
The President proved almost “Bourne Struck” as Renner, who plays Jason Bourne in the reworked Bourne movie franchise, paid a courtesy call on Aquino who came about five minutes later in their 10 a.m. schedule yesterday.
Renner, who donned what could be described as the “Barong Tagalog” Legacy had a face-off at the Malacañang’s President’s hall with President Aquino along with Bourne Legacy executive producer Patrick Crowley, production manager Daniel Stillman, and his Filipino counterpart, Lope Jun Juban, Jr., Philippine producer and executive vice president of Philippine Film Studios, Inc.
Unfortunately, Aquino missed the presence of Weisz and Norman who had left the country along with Craig. Craig only slipped into the country to see his wife Weisz. Efren Montano
