Ramos Philconsa Guest of Honor and Speaker

LEYTE Rep. Martin G. Romualdez and Manuel M. Lazaro, President and Chairman/CEO, respectively, of the Philippine Constitution Association (Philconsa), announced that former President Fidel V. Ramos will be the Guest of Honor and Speaker in Philconsa’s monthly membership meeting on Thursday at 6:30 in the evening at the Manila Golf & Country Club.
As former President of the Republic of the Philippines, sans any political inclinations to any of the presidentiables, except what is good for the country and people, President Ramos is expected to deliver the Authentic State of the Nation Address (ASONA) vis-à-vis the SONA of President Aquino and the TSONA of Vice President Binay.
The National Anthem will be led by Associate Dean Rita Linda V. Jimeno, VP for Constitutional Reforms. The Invocation will be delivered by UP Regent Nelia T. Gonzales, Governor/Treasurer. The Philconsa Creed will be led by Retired Gen. Dionisio R. Santiago, Governor. The welcome remarks will be delivered by Congressman Romualdez, President.
The new members will be presented by Dr. Margarita R. Cojuangco, VP for Academic Affairs, to be inducted by retired Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno, President Emeritus. The Guest of Honor and Speaker will be introduced by Retired Omb. Aniano A. Desierto, Executive Vice President.
Immediately after former President Fidel V. Ramos’ speech, an open forum will be conducted. Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of BizNews Antonio S. Lopez, Governor, will act as Moderator. Former DoJ Secretary, Justice Agnes VST. Devanadera will act as Master of Ceremonies.
