ELEVEN more Philippine National Police units are now certified Performance Governance System (PGS) “compliant” offices.
On Monday, the PNP leadership represented by PNP deputy chief for administration Deputy Director General Marcelo P. Garbo Jr. conferred the PGS Compliant Status to the 3rd batch of PNP units that have successfully completed the second stage of the PGS under the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030.
PNP chief Director General Ricardo C. Marquez failed to join the ceremony since he was with Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary in distributing 204 brand new police patrol jeeps at the Police Regional Office 4-A headquarters in Camp Vicente Lim in Laguna.
Garbo was joined by members of the National Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development; PNP deputy chief for operations Deputy Director Gen. Danilo S. Constantino; PNP chief directorial staff Director Francisco A. Uyami Jr.; and Center for Police Strategy Management director Chief Supt. Noel A. Nine of the 11 units received the Certificate of Silver Eagle Award for garnering an overall rating of more than 90 percent, Baraceros said.
