SEVEN armed men wearing bonnets and face masks shot dead a jobless man inside his house Tuesday night in Navotas City.
The body of Alvin Ronald de Chavez, alias “Ron-Ron,” 26, was discovered inside his house on Quintos St., Bgy. San Jose, by his neighbor Antonio Sigue at 11:30 p.m.
Navotas police chief Senior Supt. Dante Novicio said Sigue was inside his house adjacent to the house of De Chavez when he heard successive burst of gunfire. When he peeped through a window, he saw seven armed men getting out of the house of his neighbor and boarded four motorcycles and sped away.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds in different parts of his body. He was positively identified by his brother Arrian Izzy de Chavez.
Elements of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) recovered at the crime scene several empty shells which will be submitted to PNP Crime Laboratory for ballistic examination.
