Pedicab driver shot dead while sleeping

A pedicab driver was roused from his sleep and then killed by riding-in-tandem suspects the other day in Tondo, Manila. 

Arturo Quinto, 47, of 280 Padre Rada St., Tondo, was reportedly shot in the head and thus killed instantly by the still unidentified suspects.
A probe by SPO2 Richard Escarlan of the Manila Police District (MPD)-Crimes Against Persons Investigation Section (CAPIS) said that the incident took place at 5:45 p.m. at the corner of Lualhati and Zabala Streets.
It was gathered that the victim was sleeping inside his pedicab when the two suspects arrived aboard a plateless motorcycle and pointed a gun at him.
The victim woke up and was able to get out of the pedicab but was pursued by the suspects who shot him in the head.
When the victim fell, the suspecs fled  while the victim was brought to the nearest hospital by his brother. The victim wass pronounced dead on arrival.
