POLICE shot dead a 43-year-old drug-crazed man who went on a stabbing spree, killing one and mutilating five others the other day in Pasay City.
The slain drug personality was identified as Rafael Feliciano, single, jobless, of No. 484 Bayanihan St., Maricaban, Pasay City.
Feliciano died instantly due to four bullet wounds. He was shot by elements of Maricaban Police Community Precinct (PCP), who rushed to the scene when he went on a stabbing spree, killing Rolando Tagle, 34, and wounding five others, identified as German Bulado Jr., 57, Donald Jake Morales, 45, Hamprey Llorico, 26, Judy Ann Salino, 24, and Joel Catipon, all residents of Maricaban, Pasay City.
Bulado and Morales were wounded in the shoulder and face, respectively, while the rest suffered minor injuries.
Senior Police Officer 1 Giovanni Arcinue, case investigator, said Tagle earlier confronted Feliciano for unruly behavior while they were on Bayanihan St. also in Maricaban at about 11 p.m. last Friday.
A heated argument ensued between the two until Feliciano pulled out a 13 inches kitchen knife and stabbed Tagle five times in the chest.
Feliciano then went on a stabbing spree, attacking and challenging everyone who dared to stop him. He barged into and locked himself in a computer shop, sending customers to scamper for safety.
Policemen arrived and stormed into the computer shop to arrest the suspect, who allegedly tried to stab PO2 Armand Viva, prompting the law enforcers to shoot him.
