A gay beautician was stabbed dead by one of his boardmate when he allegedly refused to lend him money yesterday before dawn in Malabon City.
Malabon police head of investigators Insp. Paul Dennis Javier said the victim, identified only as certain “Apple,” of Block 45, Lot 6, Phase 3, Salmon Street, Bgy. Longos, died on the spot from fatal stab wounds in the neck.
A follow-up operation was immediately conducted by elements of Station Investigation and Detective Management Branch led by Insp. Javier that resulted to the arrest of Geraldine Dagotdot, 20, jobless, in one of his relative’s house on Bustillos Street, Sampaloc, Manila.
Homicide investigator PO3 Julius Mabasa said that prior to the killing, Dagotdot was heard by witness Manolo Gulpa, 45, asking for certain amount of money from the victim but the latter refused and instead went straight to his bed to sleep.
At around 2 a.m., the suspect, armed with an icepick, stabbed the victim in the neck that resulted in his untimely death. After the killing, the suspect immediately escaped, leaving the icepick and his gray polo shirt with blood stains at the laundry area.
