THREE persons wanted for estafa were arrested in Baguio City and Benguet the other day.
Joint personnel of CIU-BCPO, RIU-14 and MPU arrested Imelda Pichay Hebron, 51, married, BGH employee, native of Naguilian, La Union and a resident of BGH Compound, Baguio City, at 8:30 a.m. She is now detained in La Trinidad District Jail, La Trinidad, Benguet.
She was arrested by virtue of a warrant for estafa issued by Judge Danilo P. Camacho, of RTC Branch 62, of La Trinidad, Benguet, with no bail recommended.
At about 10:30 a.m. in Kesbeng, La Trinidad, Benguet, joint personnel of La Trinidad MPS and RID arrested Erick Panao Sarmiento, 30, married, construction worker, a native of Bugibog, Ilocos Sur and presently residing in San Jacinto, Pangasinan.
The arrest was made by virtue of a warrant for estafa issued by Danilo P. Camacho, acting Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 10, La Trinidad, with a bail fixed at P16,000.
The accused was brought to La Trinidad MPS for documentation prior to his turnover to the court.
In Baguio City, at around 10:45 a.m. along Harrison Road, personnel of CIDG-Baguio arrested Jernel Hernandez Tabernero, 39, single, driver, of Bgy. Poblacion IV, Victoria, Oriental Mindoro.
The arrest was made also by virtue of a warrant for estafa issued by Tomas C. Leynes, of RTC Branch 40, Calapan City, with recommended bail of P40,000.
Tabernero was brought to CIDG Baguio office for documentation prior to his turnover to the court.
