A 15-year-old boy was wounded after being stabbed by an unidentified suspects during a street rumble in Tondo, Manila, yesterday.
Victim Raymond Rogon, an out-of-school youth and residing at 152 Area D, Gate 16, Parola Compound, Tondo, remains under observation in a hospital where he was treated for three stab wounds in the head, two in the back and two in the right arm. The suspects, also said to be minors, fled after the stabbing.
Investigation by SPO1 Reynaldo Ferrer of the Manila Police District (MPD)-Station 2 said that at around 12:30 a.m., the victim was chatting with friends at Pier 2, North Harbor in Tondo, when the suspects attacked them.
In the midst of the rumble that ensued, the victim got stabbed several times after which the suspects scampered to different directions.
The identities of the suspects and the motive behind the stabbing are yet to be established by the police.
