Bataan bgy kagawad, 8 others held for drugs

CAMP Olivas, Pampanga -- A councilman of Bgy. Ibayo in Balanga City and eight other suspected drug pushers were arrested in recent police operations in various parts of Bataan.

Senior Supt. Benjamin Silo Jr., acting Bataan provincial police director, identified the barangay kagawad as Marcelo Jimenez, 37, alias “Bionic”.
The suspect, considered as a high-value target, was arrested after selling a medium-size plastic sachet of shabu to a police poseur-buyer at 3:28 p.m. last Sept. 12. Another five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu were confriscated from his possession as well as the P500 marked money used in the sting operation.
The other suspected drug pushers arrested were Bon Jov Cuenca, 22, and Rolando Milan, 58, of Bgy. Tapulao, Orani; Carlon and Carl Faustino, 38 and 32, of Bgy. Mabiga, Hermosa; Geographer Alincastre, 27, of Bgy. Cataning, Hermosa; Kenneth Cabiling, 30, of Palihan, Hermosa; John Eric Canlas, 25, of Bgy. Mabatang, Abucay; and Hendrix Aldave, 39, of Bgy. Balon Anito in Mariveles.
Plastic sachets of suspected shabu and the marked money used in the buy-bust operations were recovered from the suspects who are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165.
