Man salvaged in Navotas

A man believed to be a victim of summary execution was found with a single gunshot wound in the head in a dimly lit portion of Tanigue Street before dawn yesterday in Navotas City.

The victim, with both hands and feet tied with cable plastic strap, was found along Block 26, Phase 2 Area 1, Tanigue Extension, North Bay Boulevard South  (NNBS), at around 1:40 a.m.

The man, described as about 30 to 35 years old, 5’7” tall, medium built and with multiple tattoos in the body, was allegedly killed somewhere and dumped by unidentified suspects in the area to mislead police probers.

Navotas police homicide investigator SPO2 Noli Dait said the victim’s body was discovered by concerned citizens in the area who reported the incident to the police. Dait said they are now waiting for the family of the victim to claim his body at the Eusebio Funeral Homes.
