A pedicab driver was shot dead by an unidentified man in an apparent case of double cross over drug money.

Police identified the victim as a certain Lloyd, who died due to a bullet wound in the head.

The incident took place at 5:05 a.m. on San Juan St., Taft Avenue, Pasay City.
Witnesses told police that the suspect, wearing a face mask, casually approached the victim and without a word shot him at close range then immediately fled.
Police said five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu were recovered from the victim.
Police added that the victim was killed allegedly for failing to remit drug money, an indication that despite the ongoing bloody campaign, sale of illegal drugs remains unabated.
