Rizal homeowners prexy gunned down

AN unidentified gunman shot dead the 52-year old president of a homeowners’ association in Rodriguez, Rizal, on Tuesday afternoon before fleeing on a motorcycle.

A report from the Rizal Police Provincial Office said Noel Cleofe, the president of NTA Village Homeowners’ Association in Montalban Heights, Bgy.  San Jose, Rodriguez town, was having a meeting with his board members when the suspect and a companion arrived and asked for his whereabouts.
   
When the victim invited them to the meeting, one of the suspects drew a gun and fired repeatedly at the former. The victim died on the spot.
   
Rizal police director Senior Supt. Adriano Enong said they are still investigating the background of the victim, of Block 29, Lot 10, Onta Village, to determine the motive behind his killing.
