This after the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has granted clearances to various road constructions and repairs in seven areas in the metropolis to be undertaken by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and other private entities.
In Quezon City, an installation of temporary fence for building construction along Aurora Boulevard, Cubao, is ongoing that would last up to November 9. On Quezon Avenue, two lanes have been closed to pave the way for the dismantling of tower crane and installation of luffing crane on the ongoing building construction until Sunday, August 21.
Projects that have started and are set to last up to next year are construction and rehabilitation of drainage along Algeciras St., Sampaloc in Manila; rehabilitation of Deparo-Camarin Road, Caloocan City; construction of flood mitigation structures and drainage system along F. Yuseco St., Sta. Cruz, Manila, and Facility Operation Center upgrade, pole erection and directional boring at various locations in Quezon City.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes and avoid these areas.
