A YOUNG widow was believed to have been raped before she was stabbed 40 times by an unknown suspect inside her daughter’s room in Valenzuela City Sunday.
Police identified the fatality as Nerrisa de Guia, 43, secretary at the Nuestra Señora Deguia School, of Santos Street, Barangay Pasolo, Valenzuela City.
Case officers PO2 Michael Oxina and PO3 Josepino Pagtama sad the victim was found naked by her 14-year-old son on her sister's bed at 7 a.m.
The victim, who was last seen alive by her son and 15-year-old daughter while ironing their school uniforms Saturday night, also sustained a deep wound in the neck.
"Sinabi pa raw ng mommy nila na magpalit muna sila ng kuwarto ng anak niyang babae dahil nga hindi pa siya tapos mamalantsa," the probers said.
The son woke up the following day wondering why his mother was not in the kitchen. He immediately looked for her around the house and found her dead on his sister's bed.
The investigators believed the victim knew the suspect because there was no sign of forcible entry into the house.
They also ruled out robbery in the incident because the house was in order and nothing was missing except for the victim's two cellular phones and bracelet.
“The suspect is trying to mislead us and he wanted to make it appear that the victim was raped, robbed and then killed when he took her cellular phones and silver bracelet," the probers said.
Barangay watchmen told police they saw a sports utility vehicle parked near the victim's house before the incident happened.
