AN 18-year-old girl who attempted to take her own life before finally succeeded yesterday after she gulped a bottle of silver cleaner in Tondo, Manila, Sunday afternoon.
The girl, identified only as Alaziel, of Pilapil St., Tondo, was discovered dead inside her bedroom at around 12:45 p.m. the other day. Her family brought her to the nearest hospital but efforts to revive her failed.
In his investigation, PO3 Amelito Lopez said the girl had been battling family problems, especially since her mother,who had been estranged from her father, is abroad.
Her brother and grandmother told the police there is no more need for any investigation.
