A SECURITY guard ended up dead, his skull crushed, after falling off from the fourth floor of a building while having a drinking spree with co-workers the other night in Malate, Manila.                                                                                                

Senior Insp. Joey De Ocampo, chief of the Manila Police District (MPD)-homicide section, said victim Felix Begino, 34, of Blue Ridge Security Agency and resident of No. 152 Summerville Gilid Brgy. Mayamot, Antipolo City, was found dead at 11:45 p.m. at the corner of Basquez and Pedro Gil Streets in Malate, Manila.              

Investigation showed that before that, the victim had a drinking session with co-workers that included their general manager Nelio Balcueva, inside the Pietra Building.                                                                                                           

The circumstance surrounding how Begino fell off from the building is still under investigation by the police.                                                                                

Initial investigation though, showed that the victim first landed on a parked car with plate number NQZ-850 before bouncing onto the pavement.                               

Another security guard, identified as Julie Sano, told the police that he saw the victim falling off from the veranda of the fourth floor, hitting the cables before landing on a car.                                                                                                         

The police is not discounting the possibility of a foulplay.
