Caloocan City Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri urged jobseekers in the city to take part in the mega job fair which would be held as part of the celebrations of Caloocan’s 50th Foundation Anniversary.
According to Echiverri, the mega job fair will take place today at Rizal Plaza located in front of city hall main, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Another mega job fair will be carried out on February 22 (Wednesday) at Caloocan City Hall north along Zapote Road, Camarin II. It will also run between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Both local and overseas jobs will be up for grabs in the mega job fair, which bears the theme, “Hanapbuhay Alay sa 50th Pagkakatatag ng Lungsod ng Caloocan.”
Among the vacancies to be offered are the positions for accountant, secretary, sales clerk, welder, waiter/waitress, cook, janitor/janitress; engineer, encoder, bagger, machine operator, service crew, kitchen staff, call center agent, graphic artist, promodizer, automotive mechanic, stockman, factory worker, driver and domestic helper.
Echiverri thanked the Labor Industrial Relations Office-Public Employment Service Office (LIRO-PESO), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-Camanava) and Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) for helping put together the mega job fair.
